There Was A Complete Mob Scene At A Carnival In Oakland. Not Good!

OAKLAND (KRON) — Chaos at a carnival in Oakland over the weekend was caught on camera.

The videos show a mob of people at a carnival taking anything they can get their hands on.

It was more than just theft and vandalism. People were actually hurt.

This happened over the weekend near the Oakland Coliseum. “One of our guys got hit with a brick and had to go to the hospital because the guy said you didn’t win and they threw a brick at him,” one worker said.

And that was only some of the violence. This video was posted on Twitter.

In it, a fight broke out. At one point, a young man is just laying on the ground.

No security and no police in sight.

I have been so close to causing this same type of scene. It’s so frustrating when you are trying to get the ring over the neck of the bottle! There’s goldfish on the line, for Christ’s sake. You know the games at the carnival are rigged but you expect it to be at least possible for you to win. You throw and throw and throw. Eventually, you’ll get it, right? Odds have to be in your favor. You need that fucking goldfish. You begin to wonder if the ring will even fit around the neck of the bottle. This is bullshit. I know it. You know it. The carney with the weird wart thing on his neck knows it. Don’t look at it. Don’t look at it. It’s gross but don’t look at it.

Hours go by. You have no goldfish, no stuffed animal, you looked at it, and you don’t even have so much as a shitty Orlando Magic basketball in your hands to show for your troubles. Your wallet is empty and you have early onset diarrhea kicking in from the funnel cakes. You riot. You riot your ass off. It’s your only option at this point. Nature v nurture at the carnival, folks. Always has been and always will be.
