Jordan Peele's New Freaky As Shit Looking Movie "Get Out" Has An Elusive 100% On Rotten Tomatoes

The Wrap - Jordan Peele’s directorial debut, horror movie “Get Out,” is receiving rave reviews from critics who are calling the thriller an “unmitigated triumph” and the “most trenchant studio release in years.”

In fact, the movie has a current Rotten Tomatoes score of 100 percent, based on 85 reviews, all of which are positive. Of course, the score can still change as more reviews start trickling in.

100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Nothing gets 100%. Forrest Gump has a 72%. The Lion King is only 92%. Ace Ventura is a 45%!!! That’s how insane that TomatoMeter can be. It is kind to nobody. But yet after now 109 reviews, “Get Out” is 100% fresh. Unheard of.

I’m pumped to see it too. I saw the trailer for this movie a few months ago in the theater, and I thought about it the entire 2 hours. It helped that I was at the theater to see “Fences” and it was horrific, but nonetheless, “Get Out” has been stuck in my mind since that day. The trailer reminds me of when Internet people recut comedies to make them horror films. It’s equally scary and funny but you’re not sure if you’re laughing out of fright.

And the coolest thing about is is Peele wrote and directed it. I guess he’s about to become a mega-star? He has always been really talented and all that, but writing and directing a movie that is so well received is going to blast him to the edge of the universe. Can’t wait to see what else he has in store for us.
