Ultimate Guitar- Arnold Schwarzenegger got into a bit of a Twitter beef with Nickelback, posting: “When Congress is less popular than herpes and Nickelback, how do 97% of them get re-elected? Gerrymandering.” Nickelback replied: “Big fans. Approval rate this: ‘Batman & Robin.’ Please leave us out of your future wisdom drops. Danke Shön Herr Governator.” Mr. Schwarzenegger replied: “That’s… ice cold. I hope we can agree that we need a freeze on gerrymandering, guys. Thanks for the reply.” Finally, Nickelback tweeted: “Well played, sir. #Respect”

I need to preface this blog by saying I love Arnold. That being said, however…..Hey Arnold- fuck you, man. Your ratings on the Apprentice got “swamped” by the ratings machine, DJT (aka the President). You have absolutely no right to make fun of Nickelback. You starred in the Kindergarten Cop, bro. The Huntsman: Winter’s War has a better IMdB rating than that bullshit.

I know this an unpopular opinion, but I don’t understand all the hate Nickelback gets. I’m utterly flabbergasted as to why Nickelback can’t be considered good. They drop tunes on top of tunes. I do both a shimmy and a shake whenever Far Away, Photograph, Rockstar, Savin’ Me, This Afternoon, or Burn It To The Ground come on. My tailfeather is shaking and I don’t care who knows it. That joyous, Canadian band is coming to Jones Beach over the summer and I, for one, couldn’t be any more excited to go. Many people are saying Chad Kroeger live is the closest you can get to seeing Jim Morrison live in 2017 and I plan on finding out. I will see you there!
