Someone Spliced A Certain Scene From "Rogue One" With The Beginning Of "A New Hope" And It Is Star Wars Nerd Heaven (SPOILERS, Obviously)

I will give all the Star Wars diehards a minute to clean themselves up after watching that (if Disney hasn’t killed it yet and wipes whoever made it off the planet forever)

Okay and we’re back. To be honest, I would have been happy just watching Darth go full Vader on all those fucking nerds with bucket helmets over and over again. The way he activates his lightsaber in the dark and everyone knew they had done fucked up was worth the movie ticket alone. But actually seeing the transition from one movie to the next in this video was perfect. It’s not like Leia would just have lollygagged with those plans. Those shits were going back to Yavin IV and the dude with the radar gun ASAP. Which is why Rogue One will withstand the test of time. Awesome last hour of battles scenes and whatnot followed by an ending that kicks off the original trilogy. They fucking nailed it. And I love that text crawl from A New Hope is now an entertaining spoiler for Rogue One.

And the best part of this is that because there isn’t an actual actor attached to Darth Vader (other than James Earl Jones’ voice I guess), you can have him as a presence in all the movies where he was in his suit. Like Patton Oswalt said, Vader can be Jaws or Jason Voorhees in those movies. You don’t need to build a #franchise around him. but just know when he is on screen, he is going to FUCK shit up. Can’t wait for Episode 8. And the Han Solo movie. And Episode 9. And for them to redo the prequels from scratch (okay that wasn’t announced but I truly believe they should do that. Fuck that trash except for Sith). I honestly can’t describe how happy I am that this franchise is in good hands.
