Here’s the thing about being a Beer League Hero. It never matters what the goal looks like. You could dance around some grocery sticks out there and go bar south on the tendy with the ping off the crossbar so loud that everybody in the rink could hear it. Or your linemate could be atrocious and end up hitting you in the ass with a “saucer” pass and the puck just manages to find its way into the back of the net. The goals all look the same on the score sheet and it’s for that reason that you should celebrate all of them equally as if you just won game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.
