Dave Chappelle Will Make His SNL Hosting Debut On November 12th

Hey 2016, just when I think you couldn’t possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this and totally redeem yourself! Happy Friday! Holy shit. What an announcement. One the the greatest comedians/comedic minds of all time finally taking the Studio 8H stage at 30 Rock. A must-see TV event if there ever was one for the opening monologue alone. For real though. 2016 has arguably been the worst year in the history of the world. Hillary, Tump, beloved celebrities and athletes dying left and right. The election in a few days really felt like a perfect point to just pull the pin on whatever nukes the world has and let whatever species comes next take another crack at it. But then NBC announces that Dave Chappelle is going to host SNL for the first time on November 12th and everything is just fine again. All of our troubles just melted away in an instant. This is the perfect cure for a truly shitty year. Unless of course the world blows up right after the election takes place. In which case we’ll never get to see Chappelle host SNL. Sad!
