Maryland Does It Again, Will Debut Their "Red Ops" Jerseys This Weekend

Did Kevin Plank do it again? I think he did. Maryland dropped these beauties on us the other day, a preview of what they will be wearing at home this weekend against Ohio State. Terps going with their new color rush “Red Ops” uniforms and they look wonderful. As you know, the Terps are trying to be the Oregon of the East Coast (Oregon with Chip Kelly), and what better way to attract those 5 star recruits than throw this fire at some 18 year old kids from Dematha and Good Counsel. I’ve seen them compared to Mountain Dew’s Code Red soda, Elmo, and Clifford the big red dog. Anything that gets compared to Code Red is fine by me, that is the best Mountain Dew out here, fuck your Baja Blast.

The red is the newest addition to the “Color Ops” series for the Terps. 2012 brought us the “White Ops”. I love the clean look on these, super sleek and smooth. I wish they would break these out again.

Then in 2014 we had the “Black Ops” which are absolutely unreal uniforms.

And these aren’t part of the Color Ops category, but I have to throw in these sick unis the Terps have worn over the years.

Maryland is on their way from transitioning from uniform champs of the year to being an actual problem in the B1G. Rivals has their 2017 recruiting class ranked 11th, ahead of schools like Michigan, Auburn, and FSU.
