A Drunk Lady Got Arrested At Dairy Queen Because She Was Convinced It Was A McDonalds And Kept Ordering Happy Meals

BELFAST, Maine — Police arrested a local woman who allegedly was intoxicated last Friday night when she went through a Dairy Queen drive-thru with two children in her vehicle. It is the second time in a month that police have charged Christy Neumann, 42, for driving while intoxicated with children in her car. In the Belfast incident, police responded to a 10 p.m. report that Neumann was “very clearly, extremely intoxicated” while at the drive-thru line at the fast food restaurant, according to Belfast Police Chief Mike McFadden. A report published in the Penobscot Bay Pilot online newspaper stated that Neumann had argued with staff at the restaurant, telling them that she was actually at McDonald’s and demanding that they serve the children a Happy Meal.

I get it. You get it, too. It sucks when you’re drunk and you have your mind set on a certain fast food and your friends drag you to a different fast food place like a bunch of selfish assholes. This situation is a littttttttle different because the Mom is the one who drove her kids to a Dairy Queen and then refused to believe it wasn’t a McDonalds. So like I said, just a little different. I love her resilience though. Oh you’re telling me this is a Dairy Queen and not a McDonalds? Fuck you. You’re wrong. I’m just gonna keep ordering Happy Meals until something happens. A solid strategy until the boys in blue show up and slap on the bracelets. Flip side, I hate confrontation so much that if were an employee at that Dairy Queen I would’ve just went along with her. Yep this is a McDonalds. Yep we’ll get your kids Happy Meals. Yep yep yep. The drunk lady was so drunk she clearly wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference anyway. No need to get the police involved. Throw a couple tiny cheeseburgers at the kids and keep it moving.
