NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The manager of a local gentleman’s club was busted in a prostitution sting last week, on the same day his son was found guilty of murder. Edward Bonilla is charged with prostitution. It’s not his first time being charged with a crime involving sex or an attempt at sex. Investigators with the North Charleston Police Department conducted an undercover operation at Silk Stockings at 3346 Business Cir. in North Charleston on Thursday, August 11. Officers say they entered the business and were “propositioned for sex for money” by four women. Also on Thursday, August 11, Edward Bonilla Jr. was found guilty of murder in the death of 28-year-old Ashley Pegram. Edward Bonilla Jr. reportedly met the woman using the Meet Me app.

TOUGH day for the Bonilla family. The toughest day really. The son gets popped for murder and the Dad gets popped for trying to get a nut. We as a country need to pass a new law and it’s this. The day one of your kids gets convicted of murder is Amnesty Day for the parents of that kid. They can do whatever the hell they want (within reason). Trying to fuck a prostitute on that day is absolutely within reason. That’s gotta be an unfathomably stressful day to see your son get convicted of murder. So I totally understand this guy wanting to go blow (pun) off some steam with a hooker. Prostitution should be legal anyway. Everybody knows that. I feel like this guy could’ve mentioned that to the cops and they would’ve cut him loose. “Hey my son got convicted of murder today cause he’s a piece of shit. I just wanted to get blown by a hooker and go home.” They would probably understand. Call it time served.
