Eva Marie, Paige, And Alberto Del Rio All Suspended 30 Days By WWE For Violating The Wellness Policy

Yesterday Paige and Alberto Del Rio were both suspended 30 days for violating the WWE’s wellness policy. What the wellness policy means is vague, and WWE doesn’t announce what the actual reasons are. Could be cocaine, could be aderall, could be steroids, could be anything. If you test positive, you get the 30 days. Roman Reigns was even given the 30 day ban hammer.

I don’t really care about Paige or ADR so I didn’t bother to blog it (besides, obviously ADR is juicing, just look at him). But say it ain’t so Eva Marie! Say it ain’t so! I love me some Eva Marie. Not only is she crazy hot, I love everything about her character. The way they pushed her to the moon in NXT as a face when she was clearly the top heel was so, so good. I’m not sure people realize how well NXT did that entire thing. Xpac heat had NOTHING on Eva Marie heat. It was like short hair Vickie Guerrero yelling “EXCUUUUUSE ME” type of heat. They’ve continued her NXT character in WWE, and have quickly made Eva into an important women’s wrestler, despite her backing out of every match. So for her to get the 30 day hammer, days before Summer Slam, is a bummer. She was building so much momentum and it’s clear the WWE is very high on her. On the other hand, being popped for a violation is right in line with her character, so I don’t think it’ll set her back too much.
