Tough Day For These Cops Who Kicked Down A Door To Rescue A Woman That Turned Out To Be A Sex Doll

Mashable- A few egos likely deflated on Tuesday when several Dutch police officers broke down an apartment door to rescue a plastic blow-up doll. According to Dutch News, police rushed to an East Amsterdam residence Tuesday after neighbors reported seeing a woman in black lingerie standing listlessly at a window. Worried the woman may be hurt, the officers tried to get her attention by ringing the doorbell and banging on the door. Unfortunately, she did not answer, so they were forced to smash their way into the building themselves. The woman they found was indeed motionless, but it wasn’t because she was hurt. She was probably just deflating a little or something, because she was, again, a blow-up doll. The station later posted about the mix-up on Facebook, expressing its relief that no human person was actually in danger.

Whoops. At the end of the day, the cops hearts were in the right place. In their defense nobody’s first thought when they see a struggling woman in a window is, “Well it’s probably just a sex doll. No need to investigate.” Cause the only way to look worse than kicking down a door and finding a sex doll is not kicking down a door and finding out later that it was a real woman who actually needed help. On the flip side, how embarrassed are you if you’re the guy who had his door kicked in? That’s a tough one to explain to family and friends. “Hey I heard on the news that your apartment got kicked in. What the fuck happened?” Oh ya know, they thought my sex doll that was hanging in the window was a real woman who was in danger. So that’s chill. Just gotta own it. You’re the blow up sex doll guy now. No shame in that. Ok there’s a lot of shame in that, but still own it.
