Back in the 90s and early 2000s, the phrase could have been “if you white, funny, good looking and confident, you Ben Affleck.” Not the depressed meme we see today.
I also need to hear Ben’s commentary during the animal cracker scene with Liv Tyler. God bless him if he didn’t get a boner during that scene. Because I imagine that scene broke down the wall of puberty for many Stoolies in their 20s and 30s like the goddamn Kool Aid Man.
Also I believe I’ve made this point in the past, but if Armageddon actually happened in real life, we would have to rename Earth after Harry Stamper, right? Guy made the most selfless move in the history of mankind and literally saved the world. Harry Stamper was the fucking man. Drink one for him this weekend. RIP.
