Bron Bron Claims He Has Watched The Godfather 6 Times During the NBA Finals

BR – After the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of the 2016 NBA Finals on Monday night, ESPN’s Chris Broussard revealed the King has grown especially attached to The Godfather.How many times has he watched the classic since the postseason began? Six times. According to Broussard, James watched The Godfather Part II before erupting for one of the best games of his career—41 points on 16-of-30 shooting, 16 rebounds and seven assists—in Monday’s 112-97 win. “He said last night, ‘It just settled me down. It’s about family and so many other things,’” Broussard said. “So that got him into the mood to go out and bust 41 tonight.”

Fuck Lebron James. This story just isn’t true. It’s almost as preposterous as OJ’s golf story. Listen I love the Godfather. Everybody loves the Godfather. One of the greatest movies of all time. But it’s like 9 hours long. Nobody is watching that thing 6 times during the course of the NBA Finals. It is not that type of movie.  And if he’s watched it 6 times how is he giving it credit for Game 5?  What happened the other 5 times he watched it and they got creamed?

PS – I’d love to hear what other things Lebron things the Godfather is about besides family. That’s the most obvious easy answer of all time. Like What’s Moby Dick about….Whales and so many other things….
