Nick Cannon Has Challenged Eminem To Battle Rap Him For $100,000 And I Need Marshall To Accept

HNHH- Nick Cannon is challenging rappers to come battle him for $100,000. His desired opponent: Eminem. Nick Cannon has been working his way back into the rap game, contributing a couple of songs to the “Chi-Raq” soundtrack and, more recently, teaming up with rapper ImAMovie as the NCredible Gang. He’s so confident in his mic skills, in fact, that he’s willing to challenge the game’s very best — most notably Eminem — for a lot of money. During a recent interview with British DJ Tim Westwood, Cannon announced that he plans to host a rap battle around the time of the BET Awards (June 26), with each competitor putting forth $100,000. He wants Eminem to be first in line. If Eminem accepts the challenge (which he almost positively won’t), it’ll be a continuation of a years-old rivalry that was most heated in the late ’00s and early ’10s. Mariah Carey provoked Em with “Obsessed,” and he came back with a ruthless diss track, “The Warning,” that, by extension, was of great offense to Nick Cannon, Carey’s husband at the time. A year later, Cannon responded with a diss track of his own that didn’t quite garner the same attention as “The Warning.” When Westwood asked him about their feud, Cannon didn’t seem to relay any animosity, though he affirmed that he’s still looking to go toe-to-toe with Em in the rap arena. “I’m still ready!” he exclaimed. “I’m trying to find him. Where is he?”

I have a question for Nick Cannon. Who the fuck do you think you are? Nick Cannon shouldn’t even be allowed to say the word “Eminem” let alone challenge him to any sort of rap battle. That’s how far below Eminem he is. Nick Cannon is best known as the goofy host of Wild N Out/the guy from Drumline/Marish Carey’s bitch who refuses to sign the divorce forms. For him to have the balls to challenge the best battle rapper of all time is flat out insulting. That’s like me offering Mike Tyson $100,000 to square off in the ring. It’s obviously for attention because literally not a single person cares what Nick Cannon is up to. Cannon says he’s also challenged a bunch of other popular rap artists to a battle and they all were like, “Nah I’m good.” Uhhhh gee I wonder why. Maybe because Nick is so washed up that not even $100,000 can persuade people to be attached to him in any way, shape or form? Not to mention Eminem already murdered Nick on “The Warning” so there’s no point to do it again

One line. That’s all it took. The song wasn’t even about Nick. It was about Mariah Carey and he still got killed. “You gonna ruin my career you better get one” is so ruthless and true that Marshall shouldn’t even entertain the idea of battle rapping Nick fucking Cannon. And that’s exactly why  I need Marshall to accept it. Yeah it’ll play right into Nick’s hand and give him the attention he so desperately craves but Em could write a diss in about 15 minutes that’ll put Cannon out to pasture for good. The world needs that to happen. The world wants that to happen. Dust off the ol’ mic and put Nick Cannon’s career even further than the six feet underground that it already is. Do it for me, Marshall. Do it for the kids. Do it for the people who bought Relapse.

PS- Mondays really suck so feel free to fall down a Eminem freestyle rabbit hole on YouTube. It’s awesome.
