Ravens DT Timmy Jernigan Changes His Number To 99 "In Honor of Warren Sapp" And Warren Sapp Does Not Approve

Did Timmy Jernigan sleep with Warren’s girl or something? I saw the Ravens’ tweet this afternoon and thought it was a little strange considering Sapp isn’t exactly a model citizen you’d want to pay tribute to, but then I just moved on with my day. Now Sapp tweets his disapproval and it’s got me thinking a little more. Sapp went to the U and Timmy went to FSU. I guess that could be it? But that just seems like an inconsequential reason for Sapp to try to put a stop to somebody trying to pay him respect. You gotta think there’s a beef behind the scenes. I’m hoping Jernigan is playing the Derek Fisher role and Sapp is Matt Barnes, and this number switch is just an alpha move to taunt him. That’d be epic theater. Sapp (ironically enough) seems like a guy with paper thin skin and that would drive him NUTS. And he’d deserve it too. Either way, I’m sure there’s more to come on this story.
