I’m so confused. Isn’t this what literally every single news outlet in the world has been trying to do for the past 2 or 3 years? Catch some internet fire with a themed newscast?

Now a Prince one a few days after the legend passes away. Figure that’s grounds for an immediate raise right? At the very least a hearty pat on the back. Definitely not a freaking pink slip. Is there a rule on the books about having fun and going viral and bringing positive attention to your station? I mean no offense but I don’t give a fuck about Fox 17 in Nashville, until I saw this sweet ass Prince highlight reel. Was all ready to add it to my bookmarks, like hey this news site gets it. Now that I know the dude was fired for being “insensitive” I will never watch another news clip from Fox 17 Nashville for as long as I live. Way to honor the legacy idiots.
