Does This Look Like the Face Of A Guy Who Launched An Entirely New Finance Vertical At Barstool Without Telling Anybody?

So earlier today Nate debuted a new vertical at Barstool called Barstool finance. 10 minutes later I shut it down Taffer style. The problem with Barstool Finance is that I had no clue Barstool Finance was about to launch. Neither did anybody else at Barstool. It was Barstool Nate just scurrying around the top deck of the pirate ship firing cannons at enemy ships without even telling anybody we were at war.

Listen I actually don’t think Barstool Finance is the worst idea I’ve ever heard of, but I’d love the opportunity to discuss it with the guys and maybe put some thought and planning into it. If Nate asked me about it I would have told him I appreciate the hustle but right now is not the best time to be launching new verticals with our move to NYC on the horizon.  Maybe 6 months or a year down the road we could re-evaluate.  Instead he did it all on his own and I had to metaphorically stuff him into his bird cage.  Bottomline is Nate’s got the freaks and that’s a known fact.
