Man Is Mad At Starbucks For Printing "DIABETES HERE I COME" On His Cup

10 News - A Starbucks grande white mocha came with an unwanted tip to the customer printed on the label, the CBS affiliate in Jacksonville reported Friday. Where a barista would normally have the customer’s name printed instead read “DIABETES, HERE I COME.” The customer, who has two sisters diagnosed with diabetes, works near the Starbucks location and had a fellow employee bring back the mocha drink. ActionNewsJax reached out to the Starbucks location manager, Kent Miller, who said that the only words on the label should be the customer’s name and drink order.

You know the old saying, no good deed goes unpunished.

This dude has two diabetic sisters and is ordering a grande white mocha. Maybe a “thank you for trying to save my life” note would have been of better use. Maybe the barista is tired of serving people cups of diabetes day in and day out and is trying to be proactive. And there’s no better way to help than to bully. Most fat people agree that fat people need to be bullied, or else they never get out of the fat cycle. Sure, I can understand that it’s probably not the baristas place to print “DIABETES HERE I COME” on the name label, but you gotta start somewhere. And I’ll tell ya what, everytime that customer thinks about ordering a drink with 59 grams of sugar, he’ll think about his sisters and maybe just opt for a cup of coffee instead. So in a way, the barista is a hero. Employee of the month nominee at minimum.
