Shout Out To This Flight Attendant Who Lived The Dream And Slid Down The Emergency Slide (She Got Fired But YOLO)

(NEWSER) – Maybe she had some place to be? A flight attendant’s unique exit from a plane at a Houston airport is all the buzz Tuesday. As video posted by Click2Houston shows, the unidentified woman deployed the emergency slide, tossed a bag to the tarmac, and then expertly slid down the chute before calmly walking away at Bush Intercontinental Airport. Why she did so remains unclear, but United Airlines says she has been removed from flying duties while it investigates what happened, reports NBC DFW. 

Worth it. Getting fired over this is so fucking worth it. That’s called living the dream. I don’t know how flight attendants don’t do this more often to be honest. It’s always right there. A giant inflatable slide just begging you to open it up and fly down it. How thousands of flight attendants ignore that urge every single day is beyond me. This chick finally couldn’t take it anymore and made it happen. We all eventually grow up but we never grow out of thinking slides are awesome. It’s why some rich people put slides in their houses. Slides are never not fun. You know what? One airline company should offer the inflatable slide as a way of getting off the plane. I would fly that airline every single time. There’s nothing fun about flying. Nothing. But include being able to slide off the plane as opposed to just walking off? That airline gets my business every time. They’d still allow people to walk off the plane if they wanted obviously. Just give me the option to use the inflatable slide. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
