My 10,000 Blogs About The Wire Finally Paid Off

WE DID IT! WE DID IT! We got the creator of the greatest TV show in the history of the world to notice Barstool Sports. It only took me a million blogs about The Wire, a million Omar quotes and a million people hating the blogs to get here but we got here nonetheless. I feel so damn #blessed. It was my birthday yesterday and this was the greatest gift a 27-year-old-grown-man-who-looks-37 could ask for.  I don’t even care if I had nothing to do with this because I more than likely didn’t. I don’t care if someone simply retweeted the Steph Curry vine onto David Simon’s timeline and he unknowingly grabbed it regardless of the source. I’m taking credit for it. Ive written too many blogs about The Wire not to take faux credit for this. I’m already running scenarios through my head where somehow David Simon and I meet, I tell a hilarious joke, we become best friends and he tells me anything and everything about The Wire. A boy can dream.
