The Eliminator: 80s Action Movies
Pick which one of the four you would eliminate
Damn they churned out incredible action movies in the 80s. I guess they just don’t make them like Sly, Arnold, and Bruce anymore. Anyway, we have four absolute powerhouses going at it here, all the original flicks in classic action movie franchises.
Obviously I am saving Die Hard first and foremost since it’s the best movie of the four as well as the best movie ever. Next up I am saving Predator because any movie that has Arnold Schwarzenegger AND Carl Weathers can simply not be eliminated. Is Carl Weathers the Nate Dogg of great movies? The answer is simply “yes”.
Which leaves us with First Blood and Terminator. Terminator 1 led to Terminator 2, which had the T-1000 just melting into liquid and fucking everyone’s shit up. That and the Michael Jackson “Black And White” video basically changed the world back in the 90s. Meanwhile, Rambo progressively goes down hill after the original. So for that reason, I am choosing to eliminate Rambo. But as always, you can make your voice heard by voting below.
