Shoutout to Ed Reed’s kid for knowing what a real football team and organization look like, but this isn’t even really about that. What a weird, weird move by the Baltimore Sun to do some investigative reporting and try to prove to Ed Reed and the rest of the world that he doesn’t actually know what he’s talking about when it comes to his son. “Oh you think your son likes the Patriots? Well, what about that time he wore a beanie that you’d just bought in the Pro Shop to your retirement ceremony? Hmmm what do you have to say about THAT?!”

I guess it’s cool that Reed’s son is a Pats fan, because you know that means Reed is sneaky a fan too if he’s letting his kid be one (I was a huge Mark Messier fan as a kid and tried to be a Rangers fan when I was like four. My dad shut that shit down. Unless part of you also likes a team, you ain’t letting your kid root for them), but kids are notorious front-runners so it’s not really that big a deal. What makes it a big deal is the city of Baltimore being so offended that they send the i-team out to scour the internet for pictures of a seven year old to prove that his dad is a lying about something that doesn’t matter at all.
