Rickie Fowler's New Look Is High Tops And Joggers And I Kinda Love It

So this is Rickie Folwer’s new look.  High tops and joggers and I gotta say I kind of love it. If I didn’t have cankles this would be my new golf look. It really doesn’t look that bad.  Of course all of the golf purists with a stick up their asses will have a problem with this and call foul. So we’re totally cool with a guy like John Daly wearing outrageous (and awesome) pants but when a young guy like Fowler tries something new we can’t embrace it? I will say this, it helps that it’s Rickie Fowler doing this and not some nobody. And not just because Fowler is really really good and has won some big tournaments. It’s because he’s done this before. Rickie dressed like a highlighter for years and became the most popular American golfer amongst little kids. He’s a fashion trailblazer. Anybody else tries this and I might call them an asshole. Not Rickie. He can pull anything off. I hope and pray Rickie keeps this look going and stomps onto the grounds of Augusta National in high tops and joggers.  We’re always waiting for a few of those old backwards-thinking fucks to keel over and die. Rickie’s new look will undoubtedly help speed up the process.
