As I write this the Celts are a +1, basically a pick em. Crazy to think since the Cavs are supposed to be the cock of the walk. Maybe Vegas wants you to fall for the Celtics trap and as you can imagine it’s working. Lebron has had a pretty good December thus far, but they really haven’t played anybody yet this season. What I mean by that is the best defensive team they have played is MIA (99.9 defensive rating), and they’ve split. Celts sit at a pretty 99.4 with the second best point differential (+5.4) in the East, trailing only CLE (+5.9).
If you ask me, there is only one real way to stop Lebron other than praying. You need to make him cross from left to right. Almost force him right if you have to. I know that sounds weird, but he is much less successful from the right side
Boston is playing some of their best basketball of the season (7-3 over the last 10), and tonight could just be the night to steal one. Remember they’ve already beaten a good amount of other Eastern Conference contenders, so if you ask me this will just be par for the course.
