THAT JUST HAPPENED. I’m numb. I can’t feel my face. 12-0! The Iowa Hawkeyes just completed an undefeated regular season in 2015. I can’t believe I just typed those words to be totally honest. This season came outta NOWHERE. You’ve heard it a thousand times by now. 7-6 last season, murdered dead by Tennessee in the bowl game, fans furious at the program, people wanting Kirk run out of town, people wanting OC Greg Davis drawn and quarter on Melrose, etc, etc. I even wrote before today’s games that there was some doubt in my mind if we’d beat Nebraska. I’ve said all season long that I have no idea show good this team is but all they do is win. Hard to argue with 12-0. Impossible really. Kirk Ferentz and the Hawks won every game that was put in front of them. That’s all you can really ask for. Go ahead. Say our schedule was soft as baby shit. We didn’t play the Michigans or Michigan States or Ohio States during the regular season (despite not having control over our B1G schedule and still getting dinged for it). Colin Cowherd has and will. Paul Finebaum has and will. Doug Gottlieb has and will. We don’t give a fuck. Not anymore. Just keep winning. Just keep winning. Just keep winning. Be undeniable and that’s exactly what this Iowa team is. Undeniable to national pundits and Vegas no matter how much they love to shit on us. No we don’t have the star recruits

And you know what? National analysts have made fun of us for that too. Saying we don’t have the horses to win games. Excuse me, what? Shouldn’t Ferentz and his staff be praised for that instead of criticized? All those other teams have it easy. 4 and 5 star recruits coming out of their ears. Iowa has to actually develops their players. That’s the harder task than being handed great player after great player. And who is one of the two remaining undefeated teams in the country? Iowa. But whatever. Rip on us all you want. Don’t caaaaaarrrrrrrrrreeeeeee about any of it right now. I’m just so fucking happy that we’re 12-0. Greatest season ever to be a Hawkeye fan. This is so much damn fun. Win in Indianapolis and we’re in the CFB Playoff. Hop on the bandwagon now or forever hold your peace. Whose couch am I crashing on in Indianapolis?
