I'm Joining Team Jon Lester In The Cubs #LetsGoGold Campaign For Pediatric Cancer Awareness, All Donations Go To A Great Cause
Do you like helping kids? How about kids with cancer? Do you want to see me throw out the first pitch at Wrigley on September 20th maybe impress Theo, have him sign me to a contract and become a real life version of Rookie of the Year? I think I know the answer to both those questions.
In all seriousness I’m taking part in this campaign because it seems like a really cool way to raise some money for kids in need. Basically it’s a competition between Maddon, Rizzo, Lester and Motte, to see who can raise the most money for Pediatric Cancer Research. I chose Team Lester 1) Because Rizzo has it all and I’m sick of it and 2) Because I think if I get to meet Lester I can give him a couple of tips on throwing to first and we can win the World Series.
