Whoever Caught Papi's 500th Home Run Couldn't Give The Thing To The Sox Fast Enough
Pretty shocking turn around time on that thing. Think Papi hit that home run at like 7:40 and 40 minutes later it was already in the Sox possession and authenticated. Not really the best negotiator, the guy who caught it, is he? I mean I certainly wouldn’t ask for the world, I don’t even think a 500 ball would go for too much on the open market, but at least play hard to get a little bit and let them think you’re willing to walk away. Up your worth and check if the Sox are willing to open the vault. These negotiations appear to have gone down like Kramer and Java World.
“Ok, guy. We’re willing to give you a Red Sox nation citizenship card, which comes with a Wally bobblehead, and –”
“SOLD!!!”
Didn’t even have to offer him the 50k.
