The Boston Cop Slide Claims Another Victim - This Woman Received A Black Eye That Required 8 Stitches

I love the Boston cop slide. I love the initial video that brought it to prominence....

I love the video of the brilliant team of researchers who recently recreated the OG video....

This though? Have we gone too far?! Has the slide jumped the shark? I mean at what point does someone from the city step in and try to fix this death trap?! It's such a strange "Step right up and get hurt!" attraction I can't believe they haven't done something already! This poor lady didn't even have a funny fall, she just slumped down and couldn't get back up! I actually felt bad for her instead of laughing for once! 

That being said, I almost feel like I have to give it a shot the next time I'm in Boston. Hopefully they don't change anything about it til then. I gotta get a crack at this thing and conquer the slide. Maybe I'll bring the headgear for old time's sake….
