A Home Baker Is Going Viral For Her Attempt At Banana Bread That Twitter Says Looks Disgusting

I've seen this banana bread, mainly against my will, no less than 42 times this morning. And look, I like a good banana bread. It's probably top 10-15 on a desserts tier list, which, here is my definitive ranking of desserts that is unable to be disputed:

I left out a bunch of random desserts that most people probably haven't tried, but god damn is that a good list. Sorry if you're an adult who still eats applesauce or opts for the gingerbread or pumpkin pie. But unanimously, everyone can appreciate a good banana bread made with love and care.

That being said, being a home baker doesn't always translate to the Twittersphere. There's nothing more insulting than making a banana bread, posting it for your X friends to see, then getting clowned by thousands of people who are calling your banana bread a monstrosity of an attempt.

Everyone knows you use old bananas for banana bread because that's their only use unless you're some kind of health and wellness freak who only eats bananas that are the color of asphalt. That being said, that "minor inconvenience" that led to the banana bread making may cause you a major one as you deal with stomach bugs that you've never even knew were possible beforehand.

The holidays are great because it gives an attempt at everyone who is bored at home while they take a few days off of work and decide to do some baking. Can I make a better banana bread than this home baker? Absolutely not, but I also wouldn't try. I'll leave that to the Kontent Kims of the world who once supplied the Barstool office with home baked goods that haters will say weren't actually home baked:

Nothing is sacred anymore. Let that be a lesson to all the home bakers out there that sometimes it's best to enjoy your goods at home, away from any cameras and away from the potential roasting of tons of timelines. The good news is that it's almost Thanksgiving, and we are going to see a lot more of questionable meals:

Good luck out there this holiday season.
