Cam Skattebo Addresses Criticism That He's Doing Too Much Off The Football Field By Stating He's Just Trying To Have A Good Time While Dealing With His Tough Time
Listen, by now if you haven't seen Cam Skattebo around then you're just not paying attention. Everything from courtside at games, to livestreams, to showing up on WWE Raw last night in John Cena's final performance:
People that are mad he's in a WWE fight while recovering from his injury is hilarious. They thought he was in a Hell In The Cell match doing flips off the cage and not just in some scripted light brawls. This is what they imagine Skattebo is doing:
If I were a NFL running back with only a few years of career longevity playing in the biggest market in the country, you best believe I'm showing up everywhere. And he gets the moment because he showed up ready to go with a Matt Rempe Rangers jersey. Absolute legend.
We talk a lot about "aura" and aura farming these days, and if you want to say that's what Skattebo is doing then so be it. But you can't tell me this guy doesn't walk around with swagger:
His doctor is telling him that he's gotta lay low, and he's saying sorry buddy but I've got UFC tickets, heading to watch my team play at the Meadowlands on Sunday, and then the next day heading to Judgement Day at the Garden. What a life. Go Cam go.
