MLB Needs To Copy This Middle Eastern Baseball League And Start Using Bullpen Camels When Pitchers Come Into The Game

If you're looking for what can bring baseball to the next level, I think we found it. This genius move comes to us from something called the "Baseball United" league? It's an offseason baseball league focused in the Middle East and I have no idea who is playing in this but I do know that I love the way they think.

We've all seen the old school bullpen carts that teams used to use, they rocked, but Baseball United has taken it to the next level. They have their starters coming into the game on camelback. Forget the carts, forget guys running out from the bullpen, throw them on the back of a camel and let him do the work. I've always thought that pro sports needed more wild animal interaction and this scratches my itch. And you know just the Savannah Bananas are fucking pissed they didn't come up with this first, kind of a missed opportunity there by the boys in yellow.

I saw these videos and my first thought was "Imagine Bartolo Colon on the back of a camel coming into the game." Imagine prime CC on camelback, Randy Johnson in-between the humps, these are some incredible visuals. You're telling me there's a world where Jacob deGrom is supposed to get off the back of a camel before he starts and doesn't get hurt? Yeah right, just imagine the shenanigans we could see if MLB had this? Which team would be the first to get someone hurt, has to be the Mets right? Imagine Frank losing his mind because Jonah Tong falls off a camel in May. That video would be an all-timer. World Series Game 7 and Yamamoto rides out on camelback with the Rogers Centre going crazy, just think about that.

Manfred should absolutely give this idea a thought, you could even slap more logos and ads on the camel, think of that revenue baby.

I can't say enough how awesome this is, bringing a little bit of a minot league touch to the big league game. Can't stop thinking about someone as big as Paul Skenes riding on the back of a camel on his way to throw 100. You know other teams would branch out to other animals too, Rangers would have a longhorn or something, Athletics could have an elephant, maybe a live Tiger in Detroit? This really could help take baseball to the next level, but until then I'll enjoy watching these guys in the middle of the desert. You really do see something you've never seen before at every baseball game, it's true.
