THEY DID IT!!! – For The First Time In 2 Years, Free Lutheran Bible College, Who Was Once Called "The Worst Team In College Basketball", Has Won A Game

You may or may not be familiar with the Free Lutheran Bible College & Seminary Conquerors basketball team. That's how knowing things works. The internet discovered them last season. In the past, they've been heralded as "the worst team in college basketball". Which was kinda mean. But likely true. 

Here's a stretch of Free Luthern Bible College & Seminary scores from last season. 

Free Lutheran Bible College & Seminary was established in Plymouth, Minnesota in 1964. Students go there to study the Bible. They train to become pastors. And some of them hoop while they're at it. Last year was a tough season for the Conqs. Finished the year 0-19. The season prior, they went 0-24. 

I hate to further pile on, but in 2023, North Dakota State University beat Oak Hill Christian by a score of 108-14.

Oak Hill Christian and Free Lutheran Bible College both play in the Northern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. They squared off three times that year. The scores of the games were as follows.

You get the idea. But if the internet is going to dunk on Free Lutheran Bible College & Seminary when they're down, it's only right to give them their flowers when they're up. It was only a matter of time. Free Luthern Bible College & Seminary is building something special. For those of us who've been following along, we knew a win was right around the corner. They nearly pulled off the W in their second game of the season vs the Sisseton Wahpeton College Mustangs. They lost in a 70-62 nail biter. The FLBC&S offense has been humming, averaging 54.6 PPG in their first three games. And last night, when the Dayspring Bible College Eagles came to town… they finally did it. They fucking did it. The Conqs got off the snide. In the year of our lord 2025, Free Luthern Bible College AND SEMINARY has won a basketball game.

Well done boys. That's truly admirable stuff. To be that overmatched for so many games in a row. To keep showing up night after night, only to be run off the court by superior religious institutions. But it didn't faze the Conquerors one bit. They kept coming back. They kept fighting. They kept getting better. And last night, their hard work and love of basketball finally paid off.

Kinda bullshit of Disney & YouTube TV to finally come to an agreement just hours before Conquerors-Eagles Pt. II. ESPN clearly knew what they were up against.
