Ella Purnell Looks Hot As Hell In The 'Fallout' S2 Trailer Plus Macaulay Culkin Came Out Of Retirement To Join Walton Goggins For Some Radioactive Violence Too

If you haven't checked out S1 of 'Fallout' yet, do yourself a favor and give that a binge this weekend. Or at least before December 17th. I promise you it'll hit in all the right ways, whether you played the video games or not. Truly one of the only gaming adaptations where that's the case. At least until the Toejam & Earl movie gets made.

Plus you get a heavy dose of Ella Purnell right from the jump, and FYI that's a very very good thing. Only gets better really. She absolutely rules.

And she's joined in that radioactive desert of demented dreams and mutated fucks by Walton Goggins, who is simply a delight as 'The Ghoul'. There are a lot of flashbacks in S1 that show you the world before all the nukes go off and Goggins really shines in those moments too. The S2 teaser they released a few months back focused on that era. Great to see they'll keep up that time jump vibe moving forward.

Hardcore fans of the games were super supportive of how S1 turned out so you can't ask for a better cosign than that? And they've already started digging into easter eggs for what's to come. Sounds like this Vegas storyline is gonna be a beautiful/chaotic fucked up mess. Along with Macaulay Culkin possibly playing a major role too… Good to see him back in the saddle again, other than a quick cameo on 'American Horror Story' this will be his first big return to acting since retiring at 14.

(Source) - Culkin has spoken about how his hectic life as a child star played a major role in quitting acting at the age of 14.

Following on from the success of Home Alone, Culkin became a household name, also going on to star in Richie Rich, The Good Son, and the Michael Jackson music video for 'Black or White'. After the age of 14 though he would go years only making small cameo appearances and occasional voice roles. Speaking about the decision to quit acting on the Sibling Revelry podcast, he said: “I was tired… I remember talking to my father and I said, ‘I’m getting tired. I think I need a break’.” Culkin also revealed that his father’s pushing had left him ‘feeling trapped’, adding that until his parents split up, he didn’t feel he could quit acting. The Home Alone star has not spoken to his dad in 30 years, calling him the ‘worst person I’ve ever known’ and saw him remove his parents' names from his trust fund at just 15.

Culkin looks set to star in season two of Fallout as a member of the Legion, a villainous faction from the games centred around the Roman Empire. The Legion are powered by slaves and authoritarianism, and their introduction in season two of the show is a major addition for fans of the games. Most fans however are simply thrilled to see Culkin back seemingly enjoying acting again, with one comment on X saying: “Honestly? He fits the Fallout vibe perfectly that mix of nostalgia, chaos, and ‘I’ve seen things’ energy.” Another comment said: “Genuinely one of the most unexpected castings in the series. Can't wait to see what his role will be in the season.” Many fans however are already trading fan theories suggesting that he will be the leader of the Legion, Caesar, thought this is yet to be confirmed.

If you wanna dip your toes into all the nuclear lore, here's a couple good videos on their entire timeline. They definitely got enough material for at least 4-5 seasons.

Now if you don't give a fuck about any of this and only clicked in for pictures of Ms. Purnell, brother I don't blame you one bit.

But I do plan on being fully vaulted up for 12/17, with a Nuka Cola on ice. And of course, my Goggins Goggles on tight as can be. It just feels right.

PS: I know Mila Kunis is an all-time smoke too but let's give a round of applause to Macaulay for landing on his feet with Brenda Song. POWER. COUPLE.
