Right Place At The Right Time - Watch This Blue Jays Fan Wearing A George Springer Jersey Go NUTS As He Catches Springer's Massive 3-Run Go Ahead Homer

This is absolutely what Jays fan Michael Angeletti dreamed about when he got these tickets for Game 7 of the ALCS. He probably had played this scenario over and over in his head a billion times, first row, right on the railing in left center field. He knew he was going to wear his finest George Springer jersey too, you've got to break out the freshest jersey for a game like this. It's a good way to manifest things to happen, and what do ya know? Springer up with 2 guys on down 2 in the bottom of the 7th and he smokes one way out to left center......directly at Angeletti decked out in the Springer jersey. He ends up making a pretty nice catch, kinda had to moss the guy to the right of him to get it but he got the job done. I think he ended up snagging it barehanded off the top of the pile too? That's what it looks like, I think? But then he starts going NUTS and how can you blame him?

I'm going to assume Springer is his favorite Blue Jay since he's wearing his jersey, so you knew he was going to blow a gasket when he realized what just happened. The guy he mossed for the ball didn't seem to be too happy, but you gotta have quick hands in a situation like this. Thankfully that guy didn't pull the move the Karen from Philly pulled in Miami earlier this year and kinda just let the guy celebrate. I know a lot of people in Toronto had a great night and celebrated very hard, but this guy may be the king of Toronto right now. As far as I know he still has the ball in his possession and ideally should hold onto it. Maybe make a trade with Springer or the Blue Jays for some World Series tickets, some signed stuff as well. Or he can wait to see if the Jays pull off this World Series and see what the price tag would be on that. If they upset the Dodgers and pull this off, who knows what it could be worth. 

This is the proper way to celebrate catching a milestone moment homer for your team too, go nuts. Lose your mind. Freak out with everyone else in your section! It's the biggest homer the Jays have hit since 1993 and Joe Carter, celebrate it my man. Has to be such an awesome moment as a lifelong fan of a team like this. Cool for him that he'll always be included in the team's history because every time they show that Springer dinger, he's on the other end of the highlight. Wonder what he ends up doing with the ball when it's all said and done, I'd assume he will leave it up to Springer and the team and whatever they want to do with it, he'll comply. He doesn't seem like a money hungry shark looking for top dollar here, probably just wants the ball to go where it belongs and get a little something something for the road. What a night for Michael Angeletti and his Jays. I also think you have to retire that jersey and only wear it for big games, like you can't wear the Springer HR jersey to a May game against Kansas City, big time games only.
