Paul Skenes Is Literally Too Big To Be A Functioning Human In Europe
We've known for a while that Paul Skenes is literally larger than life, but now we get to see that in action. Skeens and his lovely girlfriend Livvy Dunne are overseas in Europe for a well deserved vacation, but there is one hiccup. Skenes is literally too tall to be a functioning human over there. The European brain can't comprehend that someone would be taller than 5'9" and would need a much larger doorframe. I mean look at him trying to head out of the room. It looks like he's in a dollhouse, these doorframes are tiny. Is Europe just built for people the size of ants?
Skenes may be a multi-millionaire, Cy Young winner in a few weeks, have an incredibly attractive girlfriend, can throw 100+, and be the best pitcher in baseball…..but he can't fit through doors in Europe. Being too big for buildings and having to live in Pittsburgh and play for the Pirates are easily the worst things that Skenes has going on in his life, everything else is pretty sick. But imagine having to bend down just to get through a hallway, guy is going to have neck problems soon! We know the story about him being too big to fit into fighter jets and that is when he turned his focus to baseball, but this is one issue that he can't really fix while over there. Livvy is all of what, 5'2" and has no issue with these doors, meanwhile Paul is bonking his head on a doorframe on the way to dinner.
He got wacked pretty good on the noggin in this clip, Livvy back there laughing while the Pirates medical staff are wondering how they are going to diagnose a concussion from another continent I can't even imagine how small urinals and toilets are over there. Paul is a real life Bill Brasky while in Europe, larger than life. At least he has Livvy there to administer an icepack to the head if he needs it. I hope she's able to enjoy the trip, that's really what matters. Hope Paul's head and neck aren't hurting too much from the constant strain of having to duck through dollhouse doorframes over there.
