NBC Tried To Tell Us It Was National Running Backs Day With Under Three Minutes Left In The 4th Quarter Of Sunday Night Football

Watching Sunday Night Football this made my ears perk up. There were about two and a half minutes left in the 4th Quarter and NBC just drops out of nowhere that it's National Running Backs Day. 

Excuse me, what?!

I get that their SNF matchup had two of the NFL's best backs in Bijan Robinson and Christian McCaffrey. But I scoured the internet and saw no mention of this before. 

Listen, National Tight Ends day is a week from today on October 26th. That's marketed, mentioned, and fans and bettors everywhere are aware of this holiday. I'm sure plenty of Tight End TD parlays will be put in on DraftKings.

But to just throw that out at the very end of a Sunday Night Football game is gross malpractice. Nobody got to take advantage of it and bet it! A Josh Jacobs, Jonathan Taylor, Bijan Robinson, and Christian McCaffrey parlay would've been nice to bet. Wish I would've known it was a special day!
