Jayden Is Hurt And Everything Else Is Terrible For The Commanders Too
Today was dreadful. Going into Dallas there weren't the highest of hopes without Terry, Deebo, Brown, and our secondary vs the Cowboys offense. We expected a shootout, and what we ended up getting was a shotgun to the face.
That was about as miserable as a game can be. Once again the secondary was non-existent, and the Cowboys carved up the defense like a juicy Thanksgiving turkey. God I love Thanksgiving turkey. And if I was in Dallas today there woulda been plenty of it to go around. I mean, the entire secondary is garbage. It's time to end the Lattimore experiment, it's just sad at this point. He does cardio until dragging his WR to the ground and getting a flag. Quan Martin doesn't do anything. Mikey has been dreadful. It's just BAD.
And Joe Whitt Jr, pack your shit. Terrible defensive coordinator, like Jack Del Rio 2.0 without any creative blitzes.
Joe Whitt Jr cannot scheme worth a lick and it's abundantly clear he's outmatched every play of every game. He needs to be gone by the end of this sentence. Is he gone yet? What about now? I'll keep checking.
And then of course, Jayden. Knee injury. Left the game. I don't care if it's not severe, there's no need for him to take a snap until the defense is figured out. We can't win games with a semi-hurt Jayden AND the worst defense of all time. Not gonna happen.
What it boils down to is this: The good news is we are early in a rebuild. This is only Jayden's 2nd season. The bad news is this roster is dogshit awful. We gotta stay patient. It's gonna suck. With a healthy Jayden this team can over-achieve. With an injured Jayden we're nothing at all. Ron Rivera fucked us with 4 of the worst drafts ever and it's pretty clear last season was an anomaly, making the NFCCG with a bottom 5 roster. But it looks like that will not be repeating this season and it's time for the organization to understand that and start planning for the future.
Hopefully Jayden is fine and hopefully JWJ is gone. Is he gone yet? Please say yes.
