Fellas - Are We Supposed To Be Shaving Our Hands?

Hey! Happy Friday!

So, I posted this video last week. I'll ask that you look past the 0-3 NFL Picks and instead focus on what most of the Reply Guys on X.com focused on - my apparently very hairy knuckles.

So yeah, I have hairy knuckles—and hairy hands. I'm Italian and Slavic. I started getting a mustache in sixth grade. I can't help it!

For full disclosure, I do trim the other parts of my body. Chest, lower back, some OTHER areas. Not like a razor, down to the skin. But a solid trim, every few months. I look better in the mirror, at least I think so. As someone with chronic low self-esteem and anxiety, I'll say it: a good trim makes me feel better. And I like the way it feels.

This week, as I headed into Thursday Night Football, I kept thinking about this video. And this picture. And a real simple question -

If I'm shaving all these other parts of my body, should I be shaving these apparently disguising hands??? I never even thought of it before last week. And then I could not stop thinking about it.

Saddled with an 0-3 the previous Thursday Night in the NFL, and losing my Mr. Thursday Night tag, I was looking for a karma-changer. It seemed like an easy decision. I went to work. Thirty seconds later

Trimmed knuckles. On one hand.

Here's the untrimmed right hand. I mean, it does look better. Boy, that is a lot of knuckle hair.

I ran it by the guys on Picks Central, and they said the trimmed looked better. But they're not the boss.

I gave my wife the side-by-side and asked simply, "Original or trimmed?"

She quickly answered, "Trimmed." That opinion holds a lot of weight.

There's also this - I bounced back and went 2-1 on the Thursday Night Picks AFTER the left-hand shave.

So I guess I'm shaving my knuckles now? Do I have to shave my whole hand? Just the knuckles? Do I do it every Thursday for the Thursday Night Football karma? Can I shave my right hand, or would that be bad luck?

Fellas - and ladies - help me out. What's the play?
