'Ah, Screw It' - Joe Flacco Had No Idea What Some Of The Play Calls Were Last Night, Improvised His QB Run To Show Off He's Still Got Elite Speed

It's pretty clear Joe Flacco can still sling that rock. It's also not shocking he doesn't exactly know the playbook from front to back considering he had a short week, still getting used to Cincinnati and all that. But him breaking out the wheels last night was still the highlight. Forget any other play, Flacco going RPO to show off the wheels was the best play

Then again, I don't think Flacco needs to know a ton of the plays. He figured out what he needs to do to be successful as a Bengal. Chuck that ball to Ja'Marr Chase as much as possible.

Then if all else fails, just tuck it and run. It is hilarious that people thought for a split second Zac Taylor called that play only for Flacco to be like hell no, that was just my instinct. That's what Joe Flacco does, he makes plays with his legs. Again, the answer is simple and Flacco figured it out. If you have Ja'Marr Chase spam that pass button to him. It'll work out more often than not, Chase is a freak of nature. It shouldn't matter who is throwing him the ball, probably why Joe Burrow is now looking like a dude who played on Two-A-Days for Hoover High

Quick shout out to Thursday night football though. Every game so far this year has delivered after years of bad football. We got to the point where Al Michaels was livid having to call these games and now they have all been at least competitive, good games. We need that if we're doing short weeks.
