The Vaunted Buffalo Bills Were No Match for Monday Night Mike Penix and the Surging Atlanta Falcons

We're so back. We will look back on that 30-0 loss to the Carolina Panthers in utter bewilderment in several months when the Atlanta Falcons are hoisting the Lombardi Trophy.

All I've heard is how awesome the Buffalo Bills are, but to be totally honest, you could have fooled me. This game shouldn't have even been close. The only reason the Bills were even in the game in the second half was thanks to Drake London stepping out of bounds at the 1-yard line on what would have been an insane touchdown when the Falcons were just trying to get a field goal at the end of the first half and another blocked field goal later. This should have been a 20-point win for the Dirty Birds.

The offense has been doing what it should do with the aforementioned exception in Carolina, but watching this defense is delightful. Atlanta has a competent — dare I even say good — pass rush for the first time in nearly a decade. The secondary flies around and makes plays. This team plays outstanding complimentary football.

Now we go. You blew the season opener against the Buccaneers that would have been huge to have, but this is the kind of win you can't squander. These guys can beat any team in the NFL, now you just have to keep the momentum.

The best news of all for our country is everyone will get to watch this team in primetime again next Sunday night and this time there won't be another NFL game on at the same time for some reason.
