Mike Vrabel On The Atrocious Officiating In The Pats Win Over The Saints, "It Becomes Comical At A Point"

Listen, the losing team in every NFL game can probably point to some bad calls that went against them as a reason for their loss. But, in yesterday's win over the Saints, the referees made some wild calls against the Patriots. And they still escaped with the win.

"It becomes comical at a point," Patriots Head Coach Mike Vrabel said Monday when asked about how the NFL can fix some of these terrible calls.

"They send these videos out every week. And they do a great job...and then I'll see something in the game and I'm like 'Did they even watch the video?'"

As you can see in the clip above, Vrabel was able to laugh it off, probably because his team won. We can venture a guess as to what calls Vrabel and his coaches were critical of during and after the game.

There was this offensive pass interference against Stef Diggs that nullified a touchdown for Vrabel's team.

I mean, what? Diggs barely extends his hand. It is nowhere NEAR the throw to Pop Douglas. When you look at overhead, they never threw a flag on the play near Diggs. Once they did call the PI, it was WELL after the play was over.

Here was ANOTHER offensive PI against Diggs, on what was Maye's best throw of the day. Hilarious.

Then, they didn't call this one on the Saints. This is clearly PI, right?

Or this one?

They could have called this on the Saints, for sure… but they didn't.

I HATE complaining about the refs - it's a loser mentality. Give Vrabel credit, he was able to have some fun with these brutal calls on Monday morning. My guess is that if they lost, he would not have been able to laugh it off so easily.

And when the League Office does a deep dive on some of the calls they were made - and not made - Sunday in New Orleans, I doubt they'll be laughing about it.
