Bucs WR Tez Johnson Thought He Was Getting MVP Chants After His First Career TD Until His Teammate Sterling Shepard Told Him They Were Actually For Baker Mayfield

You gotta love a feel good moment for guys like Tez Johnson. Jersey Jerry won a ton of money including him in his anytime touchdown scorer parlay and there's real life humans asking who he is. If you don't remember Tez Johnson from Oregon and the fact that he's Bo Nix's adopted brother then you just simply don't know ball.

Anyway, this could be a recap blog about how good the Bucs are but Cheah does that every week and Baker is legitimately the MVP. Somewhere Browns fans are crying like usual. But there's something so endearing about a guy thinking he's getting MVP chants after his first career touchdown. To give Tez some credit, after this catch maybe it wasn't truly unrealistic:

Must have felt like a shot to the heart when Shepard had to tell him that it was actually for Baker. Someone said this is the equivalent of you wave back at someone just to realize that it was actually intended for someone behind you. The good news for Tez is that this is touchdown number 1 of what looks to be many to come, and he's playing on a legitimate Super Bowl contender. Go Tez go.
