THE QB1 OF THE FUTURE IS NOW - Brian Daboll Finally Made The Smart Decision And Will Reportedly Be Starting Jaxson Dart This Week
Finally. We finally have something to look forward too again as Giants fan. Big Cat's computer rankings said life would be better if football didn't exist:
He's not wrong. Life would be better if the NFL stopped existing the moment Ahmad Bradshaw accidentally fell into the end zone on February 5, 2012. Instead we've lived through hell. We've experienced rock bottom, multiple times. There were the QB sneaks and most recently Russ Wilson throwing the ball away 3 times from goal-to-go situations. But it's all over now. Russ can't hurt us again, unless he ruined Jaxson Dart before his career even started. I'm somewhat scared of that mostly because all I know is misery lately. Probably should have started Dart against the Cowboys because that defense blows
I know what the naysayers are going to say. They are going to bring up how elite the Chargers defense is and how this is setting up Jaxson Dart for failure. My counterpoint: who the fuck cares? You drafted Jaxson Dart to be QB1 of this team, you have to let him play at some point. This current team sucks, with a few bright spots. At the minimum see if Dart can provide something in this pile of dogshit. Maybe he looks decent, can actually throw a pass over the middle of the field without getting any wide receivers murdered and we all celebrate.
All I know is this had to happen. We can't do the Russell Wilson thing anymore. I can't watch him attempt to throw moon balls that land 20 yards short and then have some stupid fake inspirational quote. I'd rather have Jameis out there slinging it and saying Jameis things. He's at least fun. Russ is just miserable to watch as a fan.
So the time is now. It's Jaxson Dart's team.
