Get The Kneecaps Ready: Dan Campbell Claims The Lions Are 'Going To Win This Game. We Have To', Pulling Anything Negative To Motivate Him

We're getting the Dan Campbell vs his former coordinator game this week. Important game! Not just because it's a division game but both teams are 0-1, Lions looked like shit against the Packers and people are ready to destroy Dan Campbell. We see it all the time in sports. The lovable loser turns a franchise around and quickly becomes the target of people getting ready to declare the run over. That's probably why Dan Campbell is pulling anything negative to motivate him. He knows the story, hell, he even brought up the expectations after the loss:

He's not wrong. The Lions have expectations, real expectations, for the one of the few times ever in my 38-years on this Earth. Can't start 0-2 when you were a popular pick to make and even win the Super Bowl. Can't be 0-2 in the division with that plus take a loss to your former coordinator.

I do love the confidence from Dan Campbell. What's he supposed to say? No, we're not going to beat the Bears? Come on. This is the man who started his coaching career in Detroit by talking about biting kneecaps. He's turned the Lions into a real team and a team that people expect to make a run in the playoffs at some point. Think it's pretty easy to burn the tape from last week after seeing what the Packers defense did to the Commanders last night too.

I saw some people saying they didn't like division games this early when the football is, well, it's bad for the most part. I disagree. Give me divisional games early and then to end the season. It adds something to it and you get to see teams freak out a little bit more. But Dan Campbell is out for blood, the least shocking thing he could have said.
