The "Thank You, Jerry" Chants From The Lambeau Faithful After The Packers Win Last Night Were Beautiful

Last night the Packers put together their second consecutive complete team win of the season. So far they've faced two teams that made the playoffs last year and destroyed them both (don't get fooled by the late garbage time touchdowns that made the score appear semi-close).

So many things went right like Jordan Love consistently airing it out, Jacobs finding the end zone, the pass rush wreaking havoc all night long, and Tucker Kraft's break out night. But maybe the most beautiful thing of all? The "Thank you Jerry" chants pouring out while Parsons joined the TNF postgame show.

This man was bathing in the moment. He couldn't be happier to be where he is.

I know it's so early and they haven't even played on the road yet, but man there's a special feeling with this team. What Parsons does for this pass rush is special. You can win a Super Bowl with this defense. The benefit he provides for a guy like Rashan Gary, who will never see a double team again. The secondary has it easier now that QBs have such little time to throw. Football is a team sport obviously, but the impact from one single addition here is really incredible.

I really cannot thank Jerry Jones enough for this life-changing moment in my Packers fandom. Two first rounders who will more than likely fall in the last five picks of the round and an aging, expensive Kenny Clark? One of the easiest yes's ever. All because Jerry drew a line in the sand and refused to go another dollar higher for a generational 26 year old pass rusher. In the words of LeBron…

Packers visit Jerry World at the end of the month on Sunday Night Football. I'll responsibly be placing a wager on Micah to get a sack in that game.
