A Lee Corso Doc Premieres Friday And Having Watched Him For So Many Years It's A Great Tribute To A Football Lifer
An absolute Touchdown! Lee Corso is super beloved, maybe the most beloved. I'm sure there's the occasional asshole who complains about him being old, or hates the mascot head act after a while, but the majority of people see a man who spent his entire life loving the game of football and providing entertainment within it for what feels like ever. His classic moments still make people chuckle.
Just a guy who loves the game, being around people who love it, talking ball and making people laugh. As old school as it gets, it feels like we're losing the legends like this day by day, especially in a world where there's so many different platforms to be featured etc, but something about watching Corso give a quip with a celebrity to his right, and Herbie to his left, or putting on that mascot head will always bring a smile to people's faces. When you consider he's 90 years old, it's crazy he's was on TV for so long at that old but he's still providing laughs and it's great to see. I'm excited for this doc as a appreciation to his career and a guy who's been a mainstay in the great game of college football.
