I Can't Stop Thinking About John Kruk's Question About How Did The Person Who Invented The Clock Know What Time It Was
Jordie blogged about John Kruk's night in the booth earlier but I had to chime in since this question has been living in my head ever since I heard it.I feel like this is one of those questions Dana Beers asks Francis in their video series and Francis somehow has the answer to but honestly I think he’d be lying and that’s not a slight on Francis- sharp guy (except that he gave up an idol to Dave on Surviving Barstool- what kind of IDIOT does that) - I just think it’s such a good question by Kruk that no one has the answer and it makes you wonder how we went so long without the answer.
Seriously I am sure there’s some sort of science or fucking whatever to this and the sundial answer is probably right but let’s call it like we see it.. there’s no fucking way he nailed it to the minute or even the second, so at that point is the whole thing a lie? Have we based our timing off the fact that the guy started the clock at let’s say 11:42 am and it was really 11:45 am? We been wrong for literally ever? My mind is in a pretzel. What a question by Kruk.
