Watching Jaxson Dart Pick Apart Opposing Defenses Is Giving Every Giants Fan The Feeling We Haven't Had In Years - Hope

Ho hum, another day of Jaxson Dart destroying defenses. It's not just the accuracy, it's not just the scoring, it's the fact he looks the part. I don't care if it's preseason, Jaxson Dart is giving all of us the thing we've begged for. Hope. We finally have a quarterback for the first time since Eli Manning that looks the part. Not this:

Instead we have a quarterback who can make any sort of throw. A quarterback who gives us these sorts of highlights

Oh and even more importantly we have a coach who understands shit

There's no reason to start Jaxson Dart right now. It's Russ Wilson moonball year until Jaxson Dart is developed and Daboll can put him in there with some actual weapons. It's pretty clear we're starting to see the Daboll plan and why he was hired. It's the same sort of stuff the Bills do, where he obviously played a role in the development of Josh Allen. Get the ball out fast, get it to your playmakers, score points. Bingo, bango we have hope.

I know, I know. It's preseason. That's not the point. That's irrelevant to the feeling everyone has as a Giants fan now. It's the fact Jaxson Dart has answered every question correctly so far. He looks the part, he keeps improving, we actually have a quarterback of the future. Hope is the most dangerous thing in the world and after a few years of apathy, it's good to have it back in our lives. Jaxson Dart, QB1 of the future.
