2026 4-Star LB Izayia Williams Commits to His SIXTH School, But Swears He's Serious This Time
Big congratulations are in order for the Florida State Seminoles, who landed a commitment from one of the top linebackers in the 2026 recruiting class over the weekend. Izayia Williams flipped his commitment to FSU from Ole Miss ... where he had flipped his commitment from Florida ... where he had flipped his commitment from Florida State the first time ... where he had flipped his commitment from Louisville ... where he had flipped his commitment from Syracuse. I think we got them all.
After committing to three schools, you should just stop diminishing the word "commitment" and sign with whatever school you're going to attend — as a freshman, at least — in December. This kid still has several months to go, I'm sure every Power Four school in America still feels like they're in the mix. In fact, with this track record, I wouldn't want to be the school that has the commitment with any length of time left on the clock. I'd say every other school on that list is in a better position than Florida State right now.
But, Williams claims his recruitment is "shut down" after his sixth and allegedly final commitment. We'll see what happens after the Noles get thumped at home by Alabama, though.
