BACK: All-Time TV/Football Guy Rush Propst Keeps His Insane Career Going, Named Interim Coach For Another Alabama High School Football Team

Guess we're doing even more nostalgia today, folks! But I live by a couple of specific rules and one of them is if Rush Propst is in the news, it has my full attention. Look at what we have just recently from Rush:

The man has been in our lives since Two-A-Days started in 2006.

Nobody summed up Alabama high school football in the mid-2000s like Ross Wilson. That dude was destined to be a future Alabama Crimson Tide. We also got introduced to Bama Bangs and more importantly Rush Propst. The man even had his own Netflix show a couple years back called Titletown that was actually good. Now? Now, much like Jerry Jones, we need a camera crew following around Rush Propst.

I love that he's taking over for a coach who got suspended. That shows me this school cares about one thing and one thing only. Winning. You don't make Rush Propst interim coach unless you're planning on making a run in the Alabama state tournament. Other states/schools wouldn't dare touch Rush Propst, but he's an Alabama legend. You don't pass on the chance to hire Rush Propst, even in an interim status.

This just reminds me of how good MTV used to be. It was one of the most important TV channels of our lifetime. You had TRL, Real World, The Challenge, Two-A-Days, Jersey Shore, Room Raiders, Next, The Hills, Pimp My Ride, basically an entire day of shows that didn't include Ridiculousness. We need to get back to those times and it starts with a camera crew at Coosa Christian right now.
